Great product. I am a housewife of a contractor who never leaves any of his tools home for me to use. I purchased these for myself - for things I do at home. Putting together IKEA furniture, tightening drawer screws, hanging curtain rods, etc. They are a nice weight and great for overhead jobs. I need to hide them from my son (electrician) and my husband. They both have been caught kidnapping this tool.

I was in the market for a :mini" impact driver. I have a Milwaukee "mini" drill Driver which I love. I also have 2 guys who work for me who use the tiny tools. We do a tremendous amount of Remote Starters and using a ratchet under the dash is fine but a little slow. Once I found this Makita set it was a no brainer. We have had 9.6v-12v Makita tools over the past 12 years. But this little set definitely takes the cake. The size alone is priceless for working on you back under the dash of a car. Certainly not enough torque for the "rusted" old Ford or GM bolts but 99% of the time it is the perfect tool. A MUST have to add to any tool box.

I got home from Iraq, i was on the roof of our house removeing tin to fix a leak, my old drill died, i called to my Son and asked him where that new Makita was ? He brought it out, tossed it to
me. Right out of the tough box, it went to work, and we got the tin off and back on.

Being a contractor I wasn't expecting. The power of my 18 volt dewalt, I wanted something compact, and lightweight. This product serves the intended purpose perfectly. For light duty work in tight places it is a valuable tool.

This is an outstanding set.
I'm older than most so the size and weight were considerations and they are right for me.
Compact enough to work between studs and light enough to work all day.
These are NOT heavy duty pieces and they don't pretend to be.
I believe that they excel at what they are.
They will be more than sufficient for 98% of a homeowners requirements.
Drill/Driver is dual speed and the impact driver is more than adequate for my chores.
1/2 hour between charges, 2 batteries and a 'cute' case.
It more than works for me!
