Having owned many brands (Craftsman, Dewalt, Milwaukee) of cordless tools and put them through the paces I have to say these new Makita lithium ion tools outperform everything I've used up to this point. I think that the strongest things that these tools have going for them are the immense amounts of torque offered by the 4-pole motors and the benefit of the batteries lasting longer and not slowly dying out when the charge is diminishing. They're 100% 'til the battery needs recharged, then they just stop. I love these tools and would buy them again without a second thought.

This set is the one of best values for the money. The tools are top notch. I am Dewalt fan all the way. I think Dewalt makes some of the best tools in the world but I have to give credit to Makita. The amount of tools you get for the money is amazing.,especially with the rebate that is going with the free battery and bare tool. These tools are just as good as Dewalt or better and cheaper.I take care of my tools but I demand performance at the same time. I highly recommend these tools to anybody. The package was perfect with my shipment and the tools came in without a scratch. Five star all the way.

I purchased these tools to fill out my tool box, which I mostly use for Automobile repairs, but find that it makes sense to have a few high-quality saws around the house, to deal with the inevitable projects that come up. I order from Amazon, with free shipping, and the tools arrived about a week later. I've heard others complain about the packaging, but in my case, the packaging was perfect, and everything was packaged, as it should be, inside the box.
When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised to also find a very well made carry bag, with roll-around wheels, and a rugged look and feel.
The tools are simply the best, and even better than I anticipated. Both the drill and the impact wrench come with LED lighting, to assist you if you're working in dark places.
The drill and impact wrench have perfect rotational balance, and while the sawzall is a bit heavier than expected, it is most certainly bullet-proof, and able to cut just about anything.
Great tools at a great price, what else needs to be said.
